Just to the south of Terrigal is Avoca Beach and Copacabana and to the north the beach is unbroken though it changes its name first to Wamberal beach and then to McMasters Beach. This gives a wide range of surfing opportunities depending on weather conditions and also provides a wonderful location for a long afternoon beach walk.
